A Good Day
I made it through yesterday, even though I wandered in a sleep-deprived state. I did indeed clean up the studio and get everything ready for a photo shoot on a day when I would be awake.
Fortunately, that day is today: Today is a good day to make photos. It's sunny and there's a happy feel in the air. It's not hot, and I have donuts.
Soon I will put on some music. It helps the flow of taking pictures.
The visual plan is much less clear than it is sometimes. I don't really have a clear idea of what I will photograph. I have a sloth. I have 2 hedgehogs. There are several hours of unstructured time. Often I have a clear idea of what I intend to do - today I just don't know.
Still, having less is often more, and I have some time to figure out how it all goes together.
If you did not hear yesterday's podcast (which explained why I was so tired all day long) then check out the link below. It's a relatively short podcast, but presents the idea of "Mise en Place," and if you aren't familiar with it then it can likely improve your creativity as a photographer and also a chef; it will help in any area of your life where you need to be able to think and create quickly.
I will post a few pics if I can during the photo process. Until then, we wish you well. Send happy lucky Animal Donut picture-taking thoughts our way!
